23rd Annual Candlelight Vigil



The names of 316 law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty — 152 of them in 2010 — were formally dedicated on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Friday evening in Washington, DC.

  2. This was my first visit to the memorial since my brother was killed in the line of duty in 2007. It is a great comfort to know that no matter what the future holds, he will always be remembered and honored in a beautiful and powerful way! Thank You for all that you do for our fallen officers and their families!

  3. I have been to Police Week numerous times and every time I step foot on the memorial grounds an overwhelming feeling comes over me. I feel that every police officer and their family need to experience the candle light vigil and visit our memorial to get a sense of who we are and what we are about. God bless our fallen brothers and sisters and their families.
