The names of 316 law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty — 152 of them in 2010 — were formally dedicated on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Friday evening in Washington, DC.
so glad that the weather was ok. i am sure God had his hand over this and made it all great. may God bless all the families and depts. that have lost a loved one
This was my first visit to the memorial since my brother was killed in the line of duty in 2007. It is a great comfort to know that no matter what the future holds, he will always be remembered and honored in a beautiful and powerful way! Thank You for all that you do for our fallen officers and their families!
I have been to Police Week numerous times and every time I step foot on the memorial grounds an overwhelming feeling comes over me. I feel that every police officer and their family need to experience the candle light vigil and visit our memorial to get a sense of who we are and what we are about. God bless our fallen brothers and sisters and their families.
